reviewer, or something like that. It’s all coming at 
them fresh. Well, so what? I mean, a whole lot of 
things are fresh. You can’t keep everything in the 
air all the time.

I think they’re finding in McLuhan a set of answers 
to questions that nobody else asks and nobody 
else answers. Questions about media, about how 
they influence the world. There’s one reason. 
That’s still somewhat remarkable to me. I find it 
amazing that nobody else has picked up McLuhan’s 
techniques or his approaches to studying the 
media and run with them.
